we prefer the optimum

Based in Dornbirn, Austria, we engineer highly specialized ceramic and textile components in close collaboration with our customers.

Long-term partnerships are built through shared engineering, continuous improvement, and a commitment to solving complex technical challenges together.

Designed to Last:

⨳ functional

Our solutions fulfill their purpose: clear, well-thought-out and reduced to the essentials.

⨳ innovative

We think ahead: with new approaches, clear ideas and technical understanding.

⨳ economical

Your requirements define what matters - we build around them: we prefer the optimum.

⨳ reliable

The best solutions are created together. We build on experience and trust – for generations.

There is Always a Better Way.

We don't expect anyone to have all the answers. We value people who ask questions, share ideas, and enjoy figuring things out together.

If that sounds like the kind of environment you're looking for, we'd love to hear from you.

⨳ Evolving since 1884

We Honour our Past.

We Embrace What´s Next.

1884 > Origin in textile technology

Since 1884, BRÖLL has developed and manufactured machine components for the textile industry. It all began with temples for weaving machines—laying the foundation for a deep understanding of textile processes and their continuous evolution.

1991 > High-speed applications meets advanced ceramics

As we expanded our expertise within the textile industry, we specialized in yarn manufacturing. The high-speed processes involved brought increasing demands for precision, wear resistance, and surface quality - requirements that led us to advanced ceramics. By establishing our own uniaxial pressing technology (UAP), we laid the foundation for manufacturing high-precision ceramic components.

2005 > Process optimization and new manufacturing processes

To better meet the requirements of an increasingly diverse range of applications, we expanded our manufacturing capabilities to include ceramic injection molding (CIM), followed by additive manufacturing (3DP). These technologies opened new possibilities for the rapid development of ceramic components and the cost-effective production of both small and large production volumes.

2022 > Materials expertise creates new possibilities

Today, application-driven engineering is at the core of everything we do. By continuously expanding our manufacturing technologies, we tailor ceramic solutions ever more precisely to the requirements of each application. While our roots remain in the textile industry, we increasingly apply our expertise in advanced ceramics and engineering to a growing range of industrial applications.
