BROELL participates in or leads 1 to 3 international and national research projects each year.

The aim of these projects is to improve and evaluate the applicability of new concepts for advanced ceramics and manufacturing methods as well as networking.

One result of a former project was an extreme resistant ceramic component made of advanced alumina for super abrasive textiles (i.e. Aramide as KEVLAR™, NOMEX™, TWARON™ etc.).
Another development was a ´thermo online measurement system´.
