Tribology is the applied science of wear, friction and lubrication.
There is a huge background in our company
concerning the interaction between textile and surfaces
in respect to friction, wear, damage of textile
and productivity.
Tribology is a matter of understanding things on
nano scale.
We understand how interaction between contacting
surfaces have to be engineered. We consider the surface as a high-end
product. The surface might be coated, structured or "made out
of the volume" – it will "ensure" the tribological qualities of the
components.
Our vision is to implement intelligent surfaces
into new markets.
